Spotted: Near-Production Mazda6 Sedan!
It’s been a while since we last checked on the next-generation Mazda6, and from these spy shots, it appears that the sedan is growing markedly, and nearly production-ready.

Mazda’s bread-and-butter sedan picks up a decidedly Nissan Altima-esque exterior (no bad thing), and it’s expected to ride on an amended version of the CD3 platform known as CD3-2. According to Brenda Priddy & Co., the platform will be shared with the forbidden-fruit Ford Mondeo.

Looks like a TL. Could they have made those gauges any bigger?

I'm sorry but this looks nothing like the fine TL.

Had the opportunity to rent this car for 5 days. Was really impress by handling and fuel economy.

This car is on my top 3.

The car looks bigger and like it!

I did the same thing. I rented the V6 version and really enjoyed it. I would actually contemplate having one of my very own. I liked the size of the care and it felt more powerful than it really was. The only downside was a kinda boy racer dash. But otherwise I loved it

It looks like it has LED turn signals/parking lamps up front. I hope those make it to production for thats going to be the next big thing in automotive lighting (next to LED headlamps).

The Altima exterior is not a bad thing??? To each their own i guess.
But the current Mazda 6 is much better than any Altima.

the current 6 is ok, but better than the altima. no one can distinguish what it looks like from all the camo, but its design is probably the new pedestrian safety standards for new cars in europe, its cousin the mondeo looks a bit fat on its front end, but again, lots of new cars will have a slim-like front end.

The current Altima is far better then the current Mazda 6. I drove both of them and couldn't get over how much better the Altima drove.

That said, the interior on this car looks like it is going to be a hit. The speedo cluster looks like it came from the Maxima though.
