Spy photos: Bmw 1-Series Cabrio barely disguised

the 1-series isn't going to have a folding hardtop, the whole point of the car is to be a lighter, "purer" BMW. It'll be a ragtop.

how do you figure? not if you're comparing estimated base brice to the Z4's BASE price of 36400. The coupe's est. base price is mid-20s, probably around 26500 I'm guessing- so the convertible would be at least 4000-5000 more? That makes it just over 30, probably more like 32000 BASE-- only 4-5000 less than a Z4.

If we have to get this ugly beast, why cant Audi send over the much more attractive A3 cab?

I know I'll be horse-whipped for saying this here, but with the twin turbo, 6-speed manual, & BMW's handling balance, the car could be ugly as home-made sin & I'd still love it.

oh, and it needs to have room in the "back seat" for a car seat.... yeah, I know, these cars aren't meant for the kids to come along.... BUT, the only way I could convince the wife for her blessing would be if the car seat would fit too! (that one thing kept me from taking a steal of a deal on an M Roadster lease last year.)

Cute but too tiny. Perhaps it has run-flat tires to conserve trunk space. I would only buy it if it were priced competitively with the Mini so I could eventually give it to my grandaughter when she turns 16.
