New Think electric-car may come to the US
Mini-electric car maker Think Global said it aims to launch the second-generation City minicar in the United Stated by 2008. According to the Think’s CEO, Jan-Olaf Willums, Th!ink is establishing distribution networks in the US market for its no-emissions car.

Willums told Automotive News Europe that Norway would be first to get the City minicar followed by the rest of Scandinavia and that the company wants to be ready to launch in the other markets soon after. United Kingdom, Switzerland and the Netherlands will also get the car.

The company was originally founded December 1991 in Oslo, as Pivco. After failure to get funding for full-scale production, the company was acquired by Ford, who started production of the Think City. Production ceased in...

Who cares about looks in this price class. This is stricly an urban-use-only vehicle for people who don't want to catch tuberculosis on overcrowded buses when going to work.
