The Chinese are ignorant. The Toyota Prius is very environmentally friendly and they're not buying it? Some people need to be educated if you ask me.

not nearly as environmentally friendly as walking or biking, which most chinese people do.

So all educated people drive environmentally-friendly cars? That's a very educated statement.

Also, to generalize an entire nation's education or sophistication level based on a list of unwanted cars is, well, ignorant.

The Japanese Army tortured, killed, and humiliated (hundreds of thousands of Chinese people during the Nanking Massacre. (They also raped thousands of women). The Chinese still have not received an official apology from Japan.

I mention this not to turn this into a Human Rights section, but to clarify why Japanese products aren't overwhelmingly popular in China.

Good to see why they are not popular with the real reason , not just some sales numbers and theoretical reasoning

In China, Acura is like the Phateon from VW. everyone thinks that Acura is just a bigger Honda, and double the price.

i really like Acura though(both TL,RL,MDX), and i m Chinese.

Hahah Toyota Prius 176..

It's ugly, cheaply made, rubbish to drive and slow.... as far as I'm concerned it doesn't appeal on ANY level whatsoever!
