What are the 20 Most Dangerous Vehicles For Sale Today? Hopefully You Don't Have One!
Forbes has put together a list of the top 20 most dangerous vehicles on the road. The Buick Rendevous SUV/ Minivan topped their list as possibly the worst car to buy right now in terms of safety. Compared to other minivans the Rendevous is up to three times more likely to cause a fatality.

Forbes analyzed crash test results, fatality statistics, safety equipment and Consumer Reports' accident avoidance ratings to come up with their top 20 list. Standard safety equipment was one of the priorities in the ratings.

Xero - I think it's more to do with the fact that ABS isn't standard on the Yaris. Perhaps for some of the other cars on this list the same is true?
In Europe the Yaris only has twin airbags as standard, but move up to higher trim levels and you get 11.
However, the Renault Clio and Modus have 6 as standard, as do the Grande Punto and 207, so offering just 2 lags behind rivals.

Whoops, wrong about the Punto, 2 airbags on base model, 6 on next trim up.

Our sociey is spending far too much money on car safety. Vehicular deaths and injuries are mostly caused by bad drivers so let's get them off the road instead of forcing families with scarce resources to spend more of their limited income on cars because of costly safety regulations. Government safety nazis keep coming up with new regulations just to give the appearace that they are doing something to protect the taxpayer. I'd fire 90% of them and keep only people who do proper cost/benefit analysis on a safety measure before pushing it into legislation. Forcing the car industry to spend tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars on a safety measure that saves only a handful of lives is a total waste when the same amount of money spent on health care for example could save thousands of lives. Even if the money saved were to go to education, society would benefit much more.

Thay are almost releaveing us of our personal sense of responsibility. You are so right, so sad! No food on the table for little Jimmy, but they have side impact airbags! I wonder what they taste like with a little bit of Bernaise sauce after a lite sauteeing in butter with some basil and tarragone!

this is like saying what is the most dangerous sport with numbers based on injuries.
