First official pictures with the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid
The Cayenne Hybrid features a full-hybrid design where the hybrid module (clutch and electric motor) is positioned between the combustion engine and the transmission rather than having the hybrid drivetrain branching output along various lines and in various directions via a planetary gearset.

A Porsche hybrid is an oxymoron. Clearly a PR move to please the greenies.

Finally, a Cayenne I like. If this design exercise works, hopefully they can put it in one of their real cars. How about a 911 C4"H" with pure electric in the front?

and Porsche is known as one of the best engine maker company

If porsche is making hybrids (following the innovator Toyota/Lexus) then expect MB,BMW,Audi...etc to join soon.

I am new at this blog thing, but I have been reading some of the comments on this web site for a while and this is more than I can take.
I can pass on the fanatism, it's okay and it can be funny, but ignorance is just annoying.
Let's take the example on Mr. JUGNU;
obviously very proud of toyota/lexus but very ignorant. You have the right indeed to prefer whichever brand you want but being ignorant makes you look like a fool.
1st, lexus innovated nothing.
2nd porsche neither.
In 1989, maybe you were not born Mr. JUGNU, Audi introduced the DUO, an A6 avant hybrid concept at the geneva auto show. In 1995 Audi sold the DUO II, an A4 avant plug in hybrid. Therefore when Lexus came out with the RX400H and advertised the first luxury hybrid vehicle in the world, they were forced to cancel that campaign by Audi.
As far as Porsche, they are using the hybrid drivetrain that was introduced by Audi in the Q7 hybrid concept at the Detroit auto show this year.

So Mr. Jugnu, while your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated, please be careful not to put your foot in your mouth.
