Photo Rendering: Next Mercedes-Benz SL-Class facelift

The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will receive a facelift when the 2009 model arrives. Usually, Mercedes gives the SL a pretty long lifecycle so we’re not expecting a total redesign until 2011. So what will you see in 2009 for the SL-Class?

Well according to our new photo renderings and these latest spy shots by our friends are CarMagazine, the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class will get a major facelift to the front design of the car, with the headlights taking design cues from the Mercedes CLS-Class. The rear design will hardly be touched, but will be cleaned up a little.

Bill, you might want to relax a bit, man. I don't think XeroKOOL was trying to slam this car. When I saw the picture of the mule, I thought exactly the same thing.

By the way, I like the photo rendering very much. I've always liked SL class, this one rocks as well.

yeah i agree even though xero k00l have some annoying remarks, i agree with him 150%. i dont even know why this design was approved. its nasty. the front DOES NOT MATCH THE BACK SINCE THE REAR LIGHTS ARE THE SAME CONCEPT FROM 2003.

That's probably a pretty accurate rendering, since it does seem like it would follow some CLS ques.

I think it is from CLS, but they again, Infiniti G and MB CLS headlights have similar profile.

The Lexus SC430 still leads this class with ease. Nothing here has the supreme comfort of the SC430 and quality. The SC430 also has the best interior. Handling is ok too.

That's photoshop of the current SL with CLS headlights. Not G, or M Infiniti headlights. You guys are enthusiasts you should be able to pick up on the little details. They look similar, but those are clearly from the CLS.

This rendering is so old, it came out months ago. The chop is just the current SL with CLS headlights.
