What's up with all you young folk branding Avalon and Buick an old foggie's car?
You guys don't know what you are missing. I know you can cram a dozen friends like sardines into a pimped out WRX STI but why put yourself thru agony when you can ride in comfort in the back of a Buick Lucerne or Avalon. The difference betwen young and old is that the old have "been there done that" and buy the best products based on their life experience. Young people seem to be more hung up on the image they project for reasons like young guys wanting to impress young chicks and that is how auto industry marketing guys suck young people into spending more money that they need to.

Great! My grandmother will be so exicted that Toyota is rolling out her next Buick.

I never get the Avalon. But after all I guess its a true competitor to the Buicks, so make it ugly but not that ugly so it would win the seniors heart, plus add to it reliability and quality and it will dominate its market. Great idea, but just not my taste.

Toyota should ax the avalon, and bring over the RWD V8 crown majesta from Japan.
