New Lexus GS460 or maybe even GS-F??

Is this a pic of the new Lexus GS460 lapping the famous 'Ring? Why would they have so much camo on a car that's only getting a new engine and cosmetic (headlight/taillight/interior) freshening? Or is this the new GS-F? And what's with the grille? Doesn't look traditional Lexus... maybe part of the camo?

Would love to hear some comments from everyone... by the way, these pics were taken from the article posted earlier ("greatest compilation of Nurburgring spy shots")...

I see I have already been de-boosted. IT IS THE XF.

It looks exactly like every picture we have seen of the XF for the past 6 months.

It has Jaguar rims on it. The 10 spoke wheels on the front are 20" Senta Jaugar rims.

It is the new Jaguar C-XF, and yes it does look very similar to the Lexus GS from the side and back.

I wonder how much will this Jaguar XF is going to cost and how will it handle.

More than the GS, better than the GS.

You're welcome.

This "jaguar" clearly has a Lexus logo in the front, and GS450H wheels in front.

Since when, exactly, is the lexus logo perfectly round?

Go to the bottom of these messages and there in a message on mine is a link to a video- watch it.

LoL i got annoyed by like 1 min.

My first impression on those pics:
"no f***ing way, damn Lexus."

and after comments I feel relieved.

It does have jaguar rims actually.

I don't hate Lexus, but I don't really like them either. And can't you detect sarcasm? I was hinting at the old stereotype...

WOW. I stand corrected. It is definitely the new Jag.
Besides the XKR, this is probably the best design that Jaguar has come up with [in my humble opinion]. Wow - at least from the Jaguar USA site, this car looks fantastic. Lets see how it drives...

The Jag will turn around the brand like how the A4 turned around Audi.

If this is a Jag, then they've ripped off the GS, and if this is the GS, then its the GS460. I don't think they would start this early on a GS-F when the IS-F haven't hit the lots yet.

It look exactly almost like the Lexus GS but the German fanboys don't to admitted it. Since Tata India auto industry has bought Jaguar, so I DON'T Jaguar will turn around anytime soon. Especially, if they are going to make the new Jaguar in India.

Need I remind you that Jaguar is British, so what German fanboys have to do with anything is beyond me.

Secondly, then apparent likeness to the GS would probably have something to do with the large portion of camouflage over the rear doors, giving it a GS-esque roof-line.

And just because Tata has brought Jaguar, it doesn't mean they will be manufactured in India. Jaguars are still manufactured in Britain, despite their ownership by an American company.

Hahahah GS-F.. who on earth would buy it? Especially when you have competitors like the E63 AMG, RS6 and M5.

@SevorbeupstryIsBack

I would buy it becouse the GS is the only car in its class that doesnt look like crap.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Kalimba.

Both E60 5-series and GS are the ugliest cars in their class.

I dont think so. I love the 5 series. It looks even better after the facelift.... and the M5 is the best looking sedan out there.

I'm sorry, the 5-series may be the best in class if you are looking for excellent balance and poise in the handling but I can't get over its looks.

Blame the methodist.

What a pathetic freak, the person who posted this article. Bloggers here seem to think everything is either a Lexus or a BMW. This is the upcoming new Jaguar XF, not the fat and uninspiring toyota crap called Lexus GS F. I should not be using such words, but this article is very offending for any british automotive enthusiast, watching the pictures of XF being mauled, through identification as a Japanese car, because that expresses ignorance ans insesitivity to a brand that was up there just until recently with BMW and Merc. Don't worry you neglecting freaks, Jaguar will resurface and it will make a fight of the competition, because this jaguar shows every promise to remind ignorant people (like the one who posted this article) that a heart still throbs through conventry. (For those who have no idea Coventry has been the home of Jaguar Motors for more than 80 years compared to the pathetic short automotive history of Lexus which was founded in 1989, this sort of article is just repulsing).

The shape does look like a Lexus GS. It says something that both the Porsche Panamera and the Jaguar XF have both been mistaken for the Lexus GS (which is one of the cleanest and sleekest cars on the road). The camouflage people behind both of these upcoming cars are doing a good job.

Upcoming Jaguar XF looks like Lexus GS is a compliment u ignorants german fans.

and kalimba it's the New E class (according to almost every spyshot and photoshop) who is copying current GS by being boxy and not typical round.

Oh come on, Lexus only created their L-finesse "design language" after BMW started their new design language. Lexus clearly just wanted to hop on the band-wagon. There's lots of BMW design cues in current Lexus models.
