What the? Long wheelbase Ford mondeo

Ford has developed a special long-wheelbase version of the new Mondeo sedan and the model was spotted recently in China where it joins other China-specific LWB models from the likes of BMW and Volkswagen Group.

tht looks nice. I believe it is rivaling the likes of the LWB versions of the BMW 5, and audi a6 which are a hit and only in the chinese market. I think I saw this in the pics taken at the 'ring tht someone posted. sadly, the US would like to see this kind of car come to the market. oh well...

The new 2008 European Mondeo is a great vehicle. Looks awesome, handles well. One magazine rated it higher than the 3 series over there. Ford Europe really does make some decent vehicles (I had a Sierra Cossie back in 84). For some readson though, the R&D guys over in Essex don't seem to ever talk to the ones here at Dearborn!

It is a nice looking car, a carmagazine tested it against the volkswagen passat, and they said the interior was of a higher quality. Good job Ford.
