Toyota yesterday announced the pricing for eight of its 2008 models. The 2008 Toyota Prius, Avalon, Yaris, RAV4, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, Tacoma and Sienna all arrive in dealerships in late July and throughout August.

Good. Looks like Toyota really has the cost of its hybrid system under control. Prius is on pace to sell 200,000 units in 2007.

Next Prius will start below 20k.

not cost effective? how so?? I rcvd a $3150 federal tax credit in 2006; many states offer huge tax credits as well. No problem averaging 55mpg with my Prius which cuts my gasoline bill in half....
