Watch out Veyron, Porsche 9ff GT9 nearing completion
9ff engineers are putting the finishing touches on the Porsche 9ff GT9, a 910+ horsepower Porsche 911 Turbo that is aimed at beating the Bugatti Veyron’s top speed record. According to WorldCarFans, the Porsche 9ff GT9 is set to make its official debut some time after the Frankfurt Auto Show.

I think it looks just the waqy a fast sports car should look and probably heralds the future direction of Porsche's slow styling evolution.

There is no power restriction on flat 6 engines. The key variable is engine displacement so Porsche probably upped the displacement considerably. There is a practical upper limit to displacement as well because big bores require big pistons with increased mass -- that makes it difficult to achieve the high RPMs required for a car of this type. The article did not say anything about the engine itself -- maybe it's an 8-cylinder.
