Quick Drive: 2008 Volvo C30

The quizzical looks, the rapid-fire questions, the pointing and of course, the "I like your caaaaarrrr," shout outs. Yep I'm in another four-wheeled curiosity. It's a good sign for Volvo (and Ford, well, at least for now) that the C30 is generating this kind of buzz on the street. Our Cosmic White tester (pictured) -- with its Java Pearl sprayed ground effects, unique glass hatch flanked by taillights that finger up to the roofline, trick 18-inch rims and pronounced, aggressive snout -- drew plenty of human flies...

I saw one of these in person a few months back. It does look great from the front but very European (read: awkward) from the rear.
