With the exception of the RX, all those other SUVs are boring trash. They have a crappy AWD system which is inferior to the Lexus system and their off road capability is very poor. The Lexus also has the best brakes so it wins hands down. No wonder it sells so well globally. I love this brand.

The RX hybrid cannot go off road at all, it even has a sticker saying not to.
The petrol engine only drives the front wheels (in all versions) and a small electric motor with under 50 hp drives the back ones. At off road speeds it overheats very quickly and dies.
Does do well in this test though.

Why are you German fanboys so full of trash? The RX can go off road easily. It was made for this. I am serious.

You're not serious.
The RX cannot go off road.
No low ratio, bad clearance..what more of an indication do you need?

If we ever took the RX330 off-roading, we would probably flip over and die.

I didnt read the article, but if the pajero is the same as the 1 we get ( montero ), it is the best offroader between the bunch.

the only car(s) that are capable of heavy off-road duty is the mitsu pajero. the crv (older models, unsure about this one) and crossroad can go mildly.
