Ford to recall 3,6 million vehicles
On August 13, Ford will send notice to about 3,6 million Ford cars, trucks and vans owners about a problem with a cruise control switch that overheats and has led to previous recalls based on reports of fires.

Ford announced that the recall covers vehicles built from 1992 to 2007 and that dealers will install a fused wiring harness into the speed control electrical system or replace the deactivation switch if its found to be leaking.

Will Ford's hell ever end? Wow, am I glad I'm not Alan Mulally. He may be making millions each month, but his job is just one massive headache after the next.
