If these photos resemble a IS300, it doesn't say much for Lexus' design team does it? How can all these posts explain how BMW has lost the plot on the new 3 when it cannot even be seen? It could be any car under there. Sure, a few BMW design elements are evident, but overall its bulging plastic cladding. Maybe BMW should employ a plastic cladding designer, to keep this website from being depressing. And what is it with the Americans obsession with Lexus? If you purchase a car based purely on dashboard panel gaps, you are missing the point. Quality is just one element which makes a good car. Sadly for lexus, originality and flair are also elements.

I'd say BMW are on a winner with the new 3, although I am not certain, it will be what the 5 should have looked like.
