Ferrari FXX Millechili - Ferrari Concept Car

Ferrari FXX Millechili - Ferrari Concept Car
The Ferrari FXX Millechili is 1000kg concept car based on the Enzo. Ferrari said that if the Enzo weighed as much as the Millechili, its 650 horsepower engine would equal the performance of 800 horsepower while providing better fuel efficiency. Ferrari plans to reduce weight by 300kg all across its lineup.

Ferrari hopes to decrease CO2 emissions across the range from 400/kg to 250/kg.

This car is much smaller. Its wheelbase is 93.7 inches versus the Enzos 104.3 inches. The distance from the top of the windshield to the tip of the nose is much shorter, too (43.3 inches versus the bigger cars 49.1 inches) giving it a much shorter front overhang. Out back, the rear overhang has been lopped off.

The FXX Millechili Concept is a reaction to pressures to clamp down on fuel economy and emissions, especially in Europe and the US.

ferrari and fuel economy doesnt belong in the same sentence. its a high-end, street legal, race car.

the people who buy this demon of a machine, i doubt, have worries about fuel economy or gas prices for that matter.

The price of gas has nothing to do with it, there are new EU regulations coming up that demand that this happen. Ferrari has no choice, do this or stop selling cars.
