A McIntosh sound system?!

EL34 will LOVE this car!

But besides that, Subbies are really growing on me now. I've always found them to be a TAD bit too cartoonish for me. After their relationship with Toyota became stronger and started to materialize in the way of the products being influenced, my love for the Legacy and new Impreza has flourished to new heights!

I can really see myself getting an Impreza WRX as my new car.

I'm definitely in love with it especially if it has Mcintosh audio. I just hope the promise of the McIntosh brand delivers everything it delivers in the home audio market. After a long search for a vehicle my wife and I can both agree on, so far we have put the Forester 2.5XT on the top of our shopping list. I just wish the Forester were available with Subaru's normally aspirated H6 engine and the AWD system of the WRX STI.

I love how you think, EnnNorak. You are easily the wise-man of this website. What I enjoy is your ability to break things down easily and highlight the practicality/common sense of certain things both car, and non-car related.

I don't know if anybody else cares, but I certainly enjoy that aspect of having here somebody around like you instead of one more of the "others'" senseless jabber-posts (my opinion is better than yours, etc.).

I'm completely with you on this one. If I wanted a Toyota, I'd buy one.

I saw a couple of new 2008 Imprezas in real life this week and, to my surprise, they look great. All the Impreza needs is slightly larger more comfy seats with longer seat cushions.

Me too, the strangling part.

Subaru totaly killed de impreza, and the bad thing is the next generation legacy and forester aint gonna have frameless doors. The impreza always had them until the ugly hatchback came out.

Frameless doors are not good as the windows need a frame to guide them up and down with long-term reliability against noisy air leaks. its a cost-cutting measure but not necesarily a deal breaker.

It may well be the best value among B cars. It's AWD system can only be beat by Audi and its horizontally opposed engine beats all ordinary 4-bangers for smoothness.

to bad we dont even have the legacy wagon with us anymore, let alone an sti version. I thought subarus were for granolas, then the new legacy came out and its under the radar looks and performance hooked me. Name other cars with a manual, peppy engine, 4 doors, and a tad of luxury thrown in for under 30k

Subaru has had always been a very quality car and exceptionally its AWD symmetrical system. I think Subaru company needs better marketing people for company itself and its distributors all around the world. I com considering legacy 3.0 R. I drove it , and I prefer it on accord 3.5 or nissan Altima 3.5.
