I currently own a 2007 RX350 and was very pleased with the looks of the new (Maybe) 2010 Lexus RX. I think it kept a lot of the same line which I feel is very stylish. I would buy a new one.

I think it looks like a low priced Yaris. The new Buick Enclave is more revolutionary than this. PLUS its just as good of quality.

GS300, honestly, this is a terrible photoshop. I will repeat what you said to w209- of COURSE you think that. However, this car could be easily passed off as a Mazda. Our RX330's design is, while not stunningly beautiful, pretty timeless. This is simply not.

You're a bit of a contradiction, though. In your post you say "Well done Lexus," but when someobody says they dislike the design, you tell them it's a photoshop. Lexus did not create this design, and I hope they never do. It looks like it dipped $15,000 downmarket.

First of all- "Luxury Autos" is calling this fairly old photoshop their "exclusive spyshot" and secondly, this is some clowns guess of what a new RX might look like. Why are you guys buying in to this, and then commenting on it as if it were a photo of an upcoming Lexus?

Well the (L) is on this and its ugly. If Benz or BMW jumped down to a poor design such as any lexus, it would still be cheep looking and ugly.

Bangle is so terrible at designing cars that many other companies including Lexus have copied its cues. ex. LS rear end, Hoffmeister kink.

Lexus and Mercedes have shown that they can make Chris Bangle's own designs actually look good. People forget that Bangle copied the Japanese to gain more marketshare in Japan/China. As a result, BMWs and Benzes look more Asian than ever.

That's what you think, 43LE. But most of the people on this site are just not that biased- there are exceptions, of course (amazinBimmer). But even if this PHOTOSHOP did have a Benz, BMW or Audi badge on the hood, it wouldn't be any less stupid-looking.

I'm pretty sure thats a photoshopped front of the Buick Enclave but with the Lexus grill, but still looks really nice anyway, nothing wrong with copying the styling on a cool car like the Enclave.

Will, I wouldn't call you a "mindless Lexus fanboy" from saying that, but it is definitely a strange comment. I don't see that at all. Perhaps the round headlights, but that's as far as it goes. Let's hope the new SC is more attractive, though I must admit, it doesn't look bad in pearl white with the new wheels and headlights.

There is no reason for the RX to be worshipped. My wife's RX330 is a perfectly adequate luxury SUV, and does most things well, but there's no single area where it truly shines compared to others in its class (i.e. X5's driving dynamics, ML320 CDI's efficiency, MDX's superb balance).

The X6 test mules look terrible. I hope it looks better with the camo taken off, because it's a very intriguing idea (sexy four-seat sports SUV).

I have seen pictures of people working at the Tahara Plant in Japan where they make Lexus. Its sad to see the underpaid workers work so hard for crappy designs, I think they make like $3.25 an hour or something. They look so unhappy and miserable like the midgets from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, I wouldnt be surprised if they sing Oompah-Loompah, Doopity do... Just to get though there miserble work days.
