Looks like Mercedes wants to keep a total secret its new generation of E-Class due to the camouflage applied to the limousine. It is hard to see any clue regarding the new design.

The new Mercedes-Benz E-class will be launched at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show and the AMG version will probably be launched less than a year after the launch of the sedan.

Looks like a larger C-class, although the cladding doesn't give too much away.

It better be larger than the C-Class as the C just got bigger for 2008 and will probably be the better value until this new E arrives.

I see a picture of a Nissan. I guess Mercedes copied Nissan. Nothing new. They always copied Lexus with the 4 eyed look and now they are trying something different.

Right...4 eyed look was from E-class originally and Lexus just benchmarketed it.

OMG, all Lexus fans love this 4 eyed look crap. Mercedes has had a bunch of models with the 4 eyed look before lexus even existed. Just look back at the models

Forget Mercedes, a bunch of other have had the 4 eyed look. Jaguar for one and BMW and others since the 50s

Stop making ass-hole comments. They add nothing to the discussion. Or are you trying to make fun of competitors' products because Lexus can't compete against superior makes.

Can't Mercedes show some originality? As Kinger stated, it looks like the new C-class. At least Chris Bangle, the BMW stylist, stated he didn't want BMWs to be one sausage, 3 lengths.

I dont know how u can tell this looks just like a C class when it has so much camo. There is a resemblance but thats because they are the same brand. The E-Class have NEVER looked anything like the C. People want a clear differentiation when spending 20K more

The only reason people are saying that it looks like a big C-Class is because of the character line on the side- which originated in the CLS. All Mercedes cars will probably have this addition in the future. I doubt that the E will have very similar light clusters and such to the C.

is anybody else getting tired of "wedge shape"...Bangle is starting to be my hero...every Mercedes (they are not the only one) same design..low front, high back..boring.
