Great, now bring the DTM as well!!! watching cookie cutter cars on a boring oval circuit is not a real motorsport (should be played on a separate channel along with Golf, Fly fishing and hunting). The SCCA TC and GT used to be decent until they started changing rules as they pleased in the middle of the season to allow "leveled competition" (a contradiction in itself). The DTM is the finest, most watched, and fastest growing Touring car series in the world, bring it on!

I just hope that when they come to America, the plan is not to insult the world with non-car people cars such as the Hummer and Esacalade. Those episodes are akin to Michael Jackson (beer world, not pop star) doing a show in Europe, showcasing beer such as Becks and Heineken. The US has more enthusiast based cars that the rest of the world will still love to hate, but would be more representative of the USA.

Hmm this is weird: "Famous names appearing this season include actors Ewan McGregor, Ray Winstone, and Sir Michael Gambon as well as celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver." These people were already shown on last seasons Top Gear. I remember Michael Gambon talking about the Prodrive P2.

I was thinking the same thing. I remember all those people already being on the show. I wonder if they're just going to give us a rerun of last season? Anyway, something makes me think I'll still be watching these on youtube on Wednesdays.

I'm not sure this is all that great though. According to FinalGear.com which follows Top Gear, BBC America will begin airing SEASON 8 of Top Gear which is two seasons old. They also said that Jeremy turned down the offer to start a Top Gear USA because he didn't want to live here. It says nowhere on the BBC America site that they will be showing a new season so I think they are just going to show slightly cut versions of old episodes, still its a start.
