1000 Km in the Smart fortwo CDI

UnitedPicturesTV has recently reviewed the Smart fortwo CDI, which can drive up to 1000km with 33 liters of fuel. Other details include driving from 0 - 100km/h in 19.8 seconds, reaching a 130 km/h maximum speed, consuming 3.3 liters per 100km, and its CO2 emissions are only 88grams.

Watch the video and see how the CDI fortwo is a smart choice, for folks living in an urban and dense environment, as I always like to state.

Well, the Smart ForTwo makes an excellent city car - and that's about it. In my opinion, of course.

Do you know how far an LS600h can go on one tank of gas? It will destroy your S320!

How about you give us some figures..

By the way, an Audi A8 3.0 TDI can do over 1000 km with one tank. Just like the BMW 730d. And so many other European cars.

Im a Lexus fan, and christ almighty david989, you give Lexus a bad image. Lexus is a great company but dam, theyre not gods among other car makers. Just as any car maker out there, it has its' own flaws.

I orderd a all black one, I should be getting it in January. I wonder if I could put some nice 18 inch black rims on it.

BentleyGT,
I ordered a black one too but the ones we are getting in the USA are not CDI. They're all petrol models.

A Lexus LS600h must use petroleum-based fuel to run. The Smart-for-two CDI, just like any other diesel, can run without petroleum-based fuel and can reduce CO2 antoher 78% as a life cycle reduction, by using pure biodiesel or renewable diesel fuel.
