GM, Ford brands beat Honda and Toyota in customer satisfaction
According to University of Michigan’s American Customer Satisfaction Index survey, US brands have made the biggest improvements in customer satisfaction. While Toyota’s Lexus brand scored the highest, with 87 out of a possible 100 points, Asian auto makers struggled to maintain quality and satisfaction.

Not to argue BMW's #2 spot, but this study was done by the state University of Michigan. Isn't the big three the largest (or very close to) employer in the state?
