Oldest Volkswagen diesel found in California

Volkswagen of America, Inc. announced that it has located the oldest operating Volkswagen diesel vehicle in America, a 1977 Rabbit owned by Clint Wilson, Tehachapi, Calif. The Rabbit was recently verified by Volkswagen of America and Family Volkswagen of Bakersfield, Calif.

no, David 989 , it rusted away 60years ago and their is no evidence to be found except some areas of clay that have a brighter shade of red where it possibly resided
