Aston Martin DBS revealed

The car everyone has been waiting for since seeing Casino Royale is finally here. Aston Martin has taken the wraps off the stunning DBS coupe, revealing a car that exudes performance and power yet still has the same proportions that made the DB9 one of the most beautiful cars in the world. The DBS will be officially unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this week and will go on sale in Q1 2008.

Still a drop dead sexy car as always. Plus when JC said that the 911 was a redesign with supposedly new panals and such, he wanted it to look like it was actually new and different. This is a DB9 with some new skin.

What a stunning car. The power to weight ration looks really good, 7.325 lbs per horsepower.

DB9 is perhaps the most beautiful car in the world to me. I'm very happy that this is replacing the Vanquish, which cosmetically always reminded me of an old, retired boxing legend. This is perfect, and I can't wait to see the production-model Rapide.

Will, this is not a Vanquish replacement. Aston has a supercar in the works. The DBS is a variation of the DB9. Check this out....http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/exotic/112_0707_2008_aston_martin_dbs/

In the sense that the Vanquish has ended production, and this DBS is their newest model, is what I meant by "replacement."

The DBS is, in fact, the Vanquish replacement. It will be very similar in price and performance to the former Aston flagship. It's not "just" a variant of the DB9.

And I agree. DB9 is probably the most beautiful car in the world. Here are "my" most beautiful cars in the world, on sale today:

1. Aston Martin DB9/DBS
2. Audi R8
3. Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT

S4, you're wrong. You don't have to believe me. The CEO of Aston Martin (Ulrich Bez) disagrees with you. did you read the link I pasted?

I don't get Aston Martin. *WHY* do they always have to make the most beautiful cars in the world?! They are SO predictable. I don't even bother looking at their press releases with all the pictures because I know what it will look like before looking at the pictures - stunning.

But, more seriously, I clicked on the link and it didn't work.

So, I did a search and revealed this sen-SATIONAL picture:
