Hot! Just in! Official next generation 3-series brochure!!!!

HOT! Just in...If you don't want to wait until 2005 for BMW to unveil the brand new BMW 3-series, boy are you in luck today! Thanks to one of our Spies, you can enjoy an 'Official' glimpse of the 'Official' 2006 BMW 3-series brochure.

We're wondering, now that BMW has sprung such a HUGE leak here with the new 3 being shown WAY before its introduction, will they have to announce it earlier than they would have wanted to, because of pain in the asses like us?

One thing we know for sure, is the printer who leaked this file, will be losing one heck of a large account!!!

The only unfortunate thing is that it is not an english brochure so if any of our readers want to take a stab at translation and share the results with our readers, we would sure appreciate it!

Finally, we'd love to hear your opinions of the new design. Is it 'Hot' or 'Not'? Post your opinions below in our blog section.

Great looking car, even if it's a little Japanese looking. This is their bread and butter so looks like they didn't want to take too many chances with the styling. There is a definite similarity to the X3. At least they are getting away from Bangle's weirdo designs.

I like the fact that all the models look distinctive. A few years ago you could not tell one car from another.

I'm sorry guys, I love BMW's and have owned an X5,M3 and a 330Cic and I will not be buying another 3 series when the 2002 330Cic I now have looks soooo much better than this. Haqve not liked the looks of the new 7 series nor the new 5 series and I do not think the lines of the new 3 series are good at all. So sad, what a great automibile and awesome company. The handling and power probably is really good but the looks does matter as we all know. I hope no one agrees with me and love the car cause if I'm right and since the 3 series is the best seller, BMW is gonna be hurting big time and that will affect all the owners of BMW in the near future.

Looks like Bangle has done it again. While I 'm no BMW fan, I thought their body designs were well executed in the past, especially the 3. The new 3 is just as bad as all of the other plug ugly crap that has come out of his design studio in the last few years. This car looks like a cheap copy of a Suzuki sedan. The current car is much better looking.

This looks like the final nail in the coffin. Asian styling cues outside. Counter-ergonomic convex dashboard inside (in keeping with BMW's new direction). Smart move with the optional iDrive, though -- When consumers vote with their purchasing dollars, BMW will get a better idea of consumer demand (or lack thereof) for the much-maligned iDrive.

Personal observation: From my informal discussions with people, it appears that BMW's new style direction appears primarily to a younger audience, typically people in their twenties and early thirties. Unfortunately, these are people who aspire to own a BMW "one day" and lack the means to do so today. More than one BMW sales rep has confided that "we don't sell them on their looks." Good thing they still drive really well.

They have accomplished their mission, that is to make the 3 series as "butt ugly" as the 7 and 5 series; therefore, the trilogy is complete. 3 complete "butt ugly" series, only the 6 series survives as acceptable and its styling is marginal at best.

It is time for BMW to wake up and realize that they have made some major design errors. The only problem is this "butt ugly" design throughout the 3, 5, 6 and 7 series did not come cheap and will be around for some years to come; however, not in my garage.
