Pics: 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I wouldn't ordinarily comment on a pick up but there seems to be a stupid virus spreading through the ranks of automotive stylists and executives. Are there really professonal stylists and experienced auto execs who look at the mockups and prototypes, then give the green light on production vehicles like this? Or do they only get people with bad taste to come to their styling previews (and why would you trust the tastes of the general public anyway?)?
How much money are the executives paid that sign off on stuff like this? I could make better decisions in my spare time and save them a boatload of money (perhaps the extra funds could be spent for better stylists).
