We spent a great day driving the new 2008 Cadillac CTS throughout Central California today, enjoying the vast improvements over the last generation car.

What surprised us most was the sophistication of the suspension and the great steering performance that equaled many german and Asian competitors.

We suggest you go take one for a spin down at your local dealer and see for yourself, just how far Cadillac has come and how its prospects are for the future.

Now if they just had a large sedan with attitude and style, that could trump the Chrysler 300c and an upcoming full size 4 door convertible, like the Mercedes Ocean Drive concept… ;)

Enjoy the photos of the car and the sites in an around Central California, San Jose and the beautiful Santana Row area.

Certainly is no E-Class or 5-Series. Beter luck next time GM/Saturn.

The one with the tattoo is ugly. Women with tattoos are a turn off.

The CTS will be a smashing success. It doesn't have to out perform the BMW, or Mercedes, just being almost good enough and being AMERICAN will be enough to sell a hell of a lot of them. Built in the good ole USA is a huge advantage even if the car is somewhat below par compared to the Germans. A lower price doesn't hurt either.
