Venture Vehicles gets $6 Million to produce 100mpg 3-wheel car
Venture Vehicles, the makers of that crazy three-wheeled electric hybrid car, have just raised $6 million in Series A funding from NGEN Partners. The investment will support the engineering and design of prototype vehicles and brand development for the new vehicle, according to co-founders Howard Levine and Ian Bruce.

It's definitely less safe than a normal car but a bit safer than a normal motorcycle. there are too many maniacs on the road these days so one should be thinking about what happens in a crash. I had a liquid-cooled Honda V65 Magna in my younger days but have consideably altered my life style now that I am approaching age 70.
