Very very sad news, even though its true some of this is already done. But this means nothing other than expect lower quality from Toyota.

There may well be some anti-trust issues with parts sharing but they must be cast aside for now given the assault on the domestic industry by foreign competition. Parts sharing has a temendous impact on economies of scale. Furthermore, consumers will benefit immediately from lower manufacturing cost and from the survival of the domestics in the longer term.

This is a strange move. What I see happening is that they'll all take parts from Toyota. But how could it be beneficial for the Japanese brand, aside from profits (which they don't need)? I guess GM is approaching their quality levels, but Ford and Chrysler are still very, very far behind.
