Even Lindsay Lohan's BMW can't save her from jail time

yeah. lindsay may not be too bright but i doubt she would be that stupid and oblivious to drive to her judicial proceedings where there is waiting paparazzi around while her license is suspended for getting busted twice for the same offense.

perhaps the 7 series did save her considering she is only going to jail for 1 day on a plea bargain. lol.

No, she crashed her SL65 and said MERCEDES's were unsafe.

BMWs have an average crash test rating and some models are even poor on safety rating. I dont think she cares about her reputation with the company because she could buy and car she wants. So shes not stupid when she says bmw's arent safe shes actually very factual. Dont be another biased joe who tags the bandwagen without being bright at posting comments...

They kay have an average test crash rating, but keep in in mind. When these are carried out the intention is to crash, in a real life situtation you have BMW quality breaks and other safety features to AVOID the crash.

Those things never help anywhere near as much in a real-life situation-- because in most of those, "PreSafe" gimmicks barely make a difference. It's the structure and safety of the vehicle that matters.

Stopping times are no better or if so not by much than merc or audi or even some non luxy cars, lotus, etc. What really matters is the design to avoid injury and and prevent the driver and passengers from getting any period. BMW did not rate so high when it came to the actual preventing that...

When I was in L.A. a couple years ago, I went to the Ivy with my family, and there was a white 745Li in front with huge white rims and blacked-out lights. I made a mental note.

When we were leaving, Lindsay Lohan walked by and went right into that BMW. I'm sure it's the same car.
