New Truck Factory Warranty Comparison: Toyota Is Last

We really don’t understand why a company that earned $13 BILLION dollars last year can’t afford to add freakin’ towing coverage and guaranteed courtesy transportation to their warranty. Even more so, why isn’t Toyota leading the pack here? They have the most profitable company, the best reputation for quality, and arguably the best product. Why not do more to stand behind it?

one should keep in mind, whenever a co. has offered warranties better/longer than the industry standard, it has almost invariably been TO COUNTER PERCEPTIONS OF THE PRODUCT'S UNRELIABILITY or inferior durability.

this has NEVER been a problem with toyota. hence, they don't NEED no stinkin' super warranties.

I've never had a toyota that actually needed warranty work...I know a few recalls though, all handled without question even at 100K miles. They really don't need 100000 mile warranties. Neither do Hondas, and I'm betting that hyundais will hold up well too, I'll let you know in another 75000 miles of hard driving.

Ever try to get a ford dealer to honor their warranty without being blamed or questioned about the role you played in the issue? Even at 20000mi? How much do you really LIKE going back to the dealer? Enjoy your warranty and the abuse from your dealer!

There's plenty of abuse when buying the car. The dealer can sell me floor mats and clear coat- but I'll skip the breaking defective crap if I can. I like driving.
