Man does 172MPH in a company car

A man in the UK has recorded the fastest ever speeding offence in the nation’s history with a 172mph (277km/h) run in a Porsche 911 Turbo. Timothy Brady, 33, was travelling on the A420 roadway near Oxfordshire at more than 100mph (161km/h) over the 70mph (113km/h) posted speed limit. The previous record for a speeding offence in the UK was held by a Jason McAllister who was clocked doing 156.7mph (252km/h) in an M3.

He was only an idiot to get caught. In Germany, this is standard driving.

There's nothing unsafe about driving that fast if you do it properly, and he had the right "equipment". Just because he broke the law doesn't mean he was unsafe.

Those are normal speeds in Germany, however one should not do 275 on the A420.

Jason McAllister was jailed for 5 months, this guy could easily get a year or 2.
And it wasn't even a motorway, just an A road...2 lanes.
