X-Ray Ford Focus ST Black Edition: Ford Celebrating “Knight Rider?”

The folks over at Jalopnik are as confused as us with a Ford press release in French talking of a new X-Ray Ford Focus ST Black Edition. The X-Ray Ford Focus ST Black Edition supposedly celebrates the hit 1980s show “Knight Rider.”

50 examples...what a waist of engineering. if ford was serious they'd make at least 2000 (something in the likes of a Integra Type-R) and label it as tuners edition vehicle. this is just a spin-off with desperation due to the lack of innovation and stupidity holding down Ford North America.

and they wonder why they arent profitable, they probably spent millions to produce this vehicle (engine,etc) and will take a loss dues to making a few grand on 50 vehicles. GREAT startegy!!!

however Ford elsewhere does have a hit with the Jag XF...that car is so beautiful!!!

The regular Focus ST upon which this car is based sells a lot more than 2000 units...this is just a special paint job.
