Spy photos: Audi A3 Cabrio caught uncovered
The design of Audi’s new convertible is quite surprising: the front of the car remains the same while the rear reveals the design of the new Audi A5. Looks like the automaker from Ingolstadt borrowed the new stop lights from the A5 coupe to make the new convertible more attractive.

this car is covered with fake plastic and steel wheels

how can you say you don't like it till you can see what it looks like

that is like saying you don't like a girl because she is wearing a fat suit

ok again my comment it saids...for those of us who are a little....(it looks like a vw cabrio with an audi front end grafted on). plastic on the grilll, and steel wheels has nothing to do with the fact that this is exactly what this car will look like a 2 door hatchback with a convertible top. so plastic on the grill, and steel wheels has nothing to do with anything. because nothing of those effect the body shape, or anything, this car unexposed other than the grill, look at the pic again... its ugly. it looks cheap. and it looks alot like vw cabrio. period

I agree bmwdrvr, that was the first thing I thought as well when I saw this pic. Could be the modern version of the Cabrio. I am really wondering why Audi felt the need for this convertible. Seems these higher end brands are wanting a slice of every piece of the pie in the market. And i think it is getting a bit over done. I like Audis, but I honestly don't see the need in this car. And you know it will be expensive.

Does Audi really need this car in their lineup? Hopefully this will look much better when it is completely unveiled.

Well what were people expecting this car to look like, a baby A5?

It's an A3 with a fabric roof. Not much imagination is needed.

Looks like a PT Luiser. It's just odd-looking to me. The A4 looks awesome, but I don't even get the point of this one.
