Infiniti targeting EX towards female buyers

Infiniti hopes that when the new Infiniti EX hits showrooms in Decembers, the compact SUV will lure in women buyers. Infiniti’s General Manager, Mark Igo, believes that the EX will be their ticket to female buyers, which the company currently lacks.

“We skew very male,” Igo said at a press event here. “We think there’s incremental business out there from women buyers if we can appeal to them.”

Currently only 35 percent of Infiniti buyers are women...

BTW as said before EX is/will be the class leader soon and what if Infinti is targeting Female buyers everybody does.

I see many females driving BMW X3,Lexus RX,Volvo XC90...etc

The exterior reminds me a lot of the Nissan Rougue. But the EX is still a great car.

A lot of these smaller lux SUV's are geared toward woman IMO

not much thought went into designing this car in my opinion. it looks like a g35 but just lifted 6 inches. not that its ugly, just a copy of another car. should sell well against the x3 and rdx which i think are girly cars. real men drive big cars.
x5, escalade, range rover, porsche cayenne, qx56, lx470.......
cute utes are for sissys.

I hope they wil target the female market with this as my wife wants a small SUV. Cars targeted at females are generally priced lower i.e. a better value. That way my wife will be happy and it will cost me less. Just make sure, Nissan, that this vehicle has a conventional tranny and not the dreaded CVT or I won't consider it for my wife.
