what the hell are you talking about? Lexus doesn't sell many cars in Europe. I'm starting to think that you are a trolling Lexus executive. Why do you constantly bombard the site with pro-Lexus rants, half-truths and reams of obscure Lexus facts and figures that no one cares about? This isn't even about Lexus.
And for the record, I don't like Chryslers, but I would take a rumbling Hemi Challenger over any Lexus, any day.

Lexus sales are pathetic in Europe, in Britain (its best market) it sells 10% of what Audi or BMW do, and in fact sales dropped this YTD compared to last YTD in Britain.
We don't love them at all.

And selling like hot cakes generally means good sales, which Lexus doesn't have.

Obviously houstoncutie2000 just wants some attention but does not know how to do it without projecting extreme stupidity. I suspect that Cerberus execs don't want to spend the money to overcome European regulatory hurdles. As for Lexus, one is better off to buy the Toyota equivalents on which many Lexus cars are based. It's silly to spend thousands extra just to get the Lexus "L" on your grille.

I just came up with the strangest thought. I would never imagine the likes of Lexus being praised so high with such ignorant, smug intention from someone. A pompous attitude about a brand as if it is evoking and exuding a kind of Godly flair and radiance that, to me at least, lacks the striking distinctiveness of more purer marques.

I don't know how many of you have been to Europe, but it's not like the US when it comes to size of roads.

Did anyone of you guys watch Top Gear when they compared this to Europe's semi muscle car? Europe has plenty of sports cars. This probably will not rival BMW's Handling or Power of a Mercedes. But the retro looks is always something to admire. I think thats what gets some European buyers interested in the new Challenger.

It is economics, not taste as to why this new privately held company will not sell this car in Europe. This is an emotional purchase for most Americans and not so much for the Europeans? Just like the near demise of all pony cars before the Mustang continued soldering on. The Mustang is a crude and very poorly engineered example, but the charger will be a little bit more refined, because it's platform is better to begin with.I mean, you should remember that the Viper is also limited production, but it is sold in Europe as a halo car. You never know if demand is high enough or production begins to slow down in the states from a lower demand they may start exporting it over there?

hopefully it doesnt have that el cheapo interior like the rest of the dodges....

We are all so overcome with grief over here, We had our Cheque-Books out and waiting, all eager to Purchase one.

Oh well, i guess we will have to make do with all the regular European Sports Cars, what with their Better Handling, Fit& Finish & Build Quality.
