I don't think there will be a sedan version. If you look at the history of RS-models, they were all Avants.

I am imploring my fellows car enthusiasts, from every forums to mass e-mail Audi of america, we NEED this car here in the US. same with the Q7 V12 Tdi.
and that 4.6 is very conservative as we know now with the RS4, R8 and S5 all posting lower numbers than Audi has announced.

I especially like the Q7 V-12 TDI. It will be very expensive so I hope it will be all-aluminum to defeat rust and make it possible for initial owners to pass it to the next generation as an heirloom.

HOT! Is the Avant coming here? That would be an absolute dream... a 570hp wagon! LOL! And not only that but it looks better than anything else you can get at this price. I think it's my new second-favorite Audi, only behind the R8.

BTW, with that much power, it will be much faster than Audi's underestimating 4.6 sec. The old RS6 Plus got that with "only" 480hp. This will probably do 4 seconds flat- but the sedan! In the 3s!

Interior looks just as gorgeous as the outside, or almost. Great improvement over the S6's.

Someone needs to give this article a flashy title so it'll get more attention. Something like, "New Audi RS6 Avant: BETTER THAN LEXUS IS-F?"

Only in Avant version, that is fabolous. Just like in the old days..

580 hp DIN is just mad, yet I expected it to be quicker. 0-200 kmh in about 14 seconds is very fast, in fact it's one seconds quicker than both E63 and M5 and it's equally fast as a Lamborghini Gallardo. But even an S65 AMG (only offered in long version) will still easily outrun it. (BASED on official figures)

Well for your information, the RS6 will be coming in a sedan version as well. www.wheels24.co.za has basically confirmed that the Sedan will be launched at the upcoming motor show.

this is IT. My wife and i are planning a trip in Europe next spring and we are going to the drivers day, I am going to enjoy this baby for a couple of days . I was thinking R8 or RS4 cab., but now, there is no doubt this is the car I want to take on the autobhan...

This car will SPANK the M5 and E63 in straights and twisties.

No car enthusiast would ever prefer a Mercedes AMG over a BMW M or Audi RS.

The cars handle like pigs and have slow track times.
