Incredible pricing, I just might take one instead of a Scion for trips to the grocery store.

The US makers should sue Daimler for unfair trade practices... The same car costs at least 13,000 euros even in its most basic form, after all possible retail discounts. 13K euros translates to 17,785 USD (plus shipping the darn thing over the ocean)... Classic example of dumping.

Like every european car maker does?
You know waht a 335i costs in it's home country?
45000,- euros
or a merc SL55? 140000 euros
or a Porsche 997 turbo. 140000 euros.

So yeah, every european car maker uses their classic example of dumping in the US.

Dump away...dont mind paying less for Euro cars! I wonder...will the Smart 4 2 be sold on Benz dealerships? I know Mini's wer esold on BMW dealerships and serviced there as well. Eventually they had to change it because Mini customers developed envy when servcing their cars with BMWs...lol. Most likely same for Smart 4 2.

If you live in a VERY small town....ok....but can't see these fairing well on I-95 or the 405 (for all of the left-coast folks). Concerned mothers and fathers beware.

Look Guys

I live in the UK and we have LOADS of Smarts over here.

For all the Many Smart Cars we have, I have NEVER, I repeat NEVER seen one on the Motorways

They are supposed to be for City Driving and they are Bloody good at that. Most Likely Smart Buyer has another vehicle which will be used for Longer Journeys out of the City Center.
