Spy Shots: BMW M3 Sedan caught in silver (without camo)
Earlier this August we brought you spy shots of a black BMW M3 Sedan that was hardly wearing any camouflage. Now, our friends at CarMagazine have caught the latest shots of a silver BMW M3 Sedan around the Nurburgring.

It’s been two generations since we’ve seen an M3 Sedan, which was previously cancelled due to its unpopularity. Now BMW is hoping their new style will be enough to get the M3 Sedan to take on the new Mercedes C 63 AMG and the upcoming Audi RS4...

You know, if you'd have just stopped before your "F comes before M..." line that would have been a fine post, but then you just had to flame on.

Side note: I am so glad they are bringing back the M3 sedan after almost an 8 year hiatus.

Yes but M is higher numerically and therefore... ah forget it I couldn't be arsed really...

And what does F stand for, Mr. Lexus King? Failure? Guess M stands for Marvelous!

Lexus King, the IS-F looks slow to me, how could F stand for "Fast" then?

Bill, you sound slow to me.

You are a Professor of History? I still don't believe it. I cannot help but think that if I were in your class, I would hear more opinion than fact.

Wow, I am PLAYING with Lexus King. You think I am serious? Funny how people thought I was agreeing with David989 when I replied with "Riiiight" to his "Mazda copied the Lexus IS" comment in the new Mazda 6 thread. It's called sarcasm.

RS stands for RennSport.

Just had to put that in there.

LexusKing should be happy his career is not in the prediction business.

Great to see M3 sedan having the same front fascia as M3 coupe.(So this means facelifted new 3 Sedan will also lift the coupe fascia).Nice

i can almost guarantee that the only version of the 3 series sedan that will be getting the coupe headlights is the m3 version.

glad they're coming back out with the sedan, though I disagree with the article saying "the M3 sedan will be priced considerably higher than the coupe". In BMW land the coupes always cost more than the sedans. Worst case they'll cost the same, realistically the sedan will probably be $3k less.

I agree. I cannot see the argument in the boardroom for making the sedan cost more than the coupe; that is counterintuitive. Coupes have always cost more than sedans, even outside BMW land.

The M3 Sedan is looking very nice. I can't wait to finally see a comparo between RS4, IS-F, M3, CTS-V, and C63 AMG! What a good time to be a car fan!

the coupe would probably cost more with the m6 more than the m5

It looks a bit like a Honda Civic from the rear shot. I think the coupe looks much
nicer, although I will reserve judgement until better photos are available.

Damn it, I wished they made the rear lights more sporty. Since BMW is changing the front end to match the M3 coupe. I hope BMW integrates the reverse lights into the reflectors.
