Ford offers EUR 57m for majority stake in Romania’s Automobile Craiova
After Renault bought "Automobile Dacia" and started the production of Dacia Logan,a car with a huge success in Eastern Europe and Middle East and surprisingly very well sold also in Western Europe,it seems like Ford will buy the second car plant in Romania, "Daewoo Automobile" after the Romanian Government bought it back from GM.Rumours say that Ford is also interested in developing a low cost car to compete with the Logan on the emerging markets.

Sure... Great idea. From one end of the spectrum (Aston Martin) to the other (Daewoo). Um, is their lack of focus (no pun intended) at FoMoCo?

ford is a dead company along with chrysler only gm will survive at this rate but i do wish they would make a comeback i would really like to oneday see a solidly built ford.

Ford needs to focus on selling cars. Rather than buying companies. I want them to turn Jaguar and Rover around and make a Ford Fusion that doesn't have any problems. My girlfriend has one, its only 6 months old and its having issues.
