New pictures of Saab's Turbo X hit the net prior to official Frankfurt debut

I think the Turbo X is a hot looking, aggressive piece of work. The outside styling knocks it out of the park. Impressive work, Trollhattan!!!

Only 2,000? SAAB lovers better get our orders in soon. If there are 2,000 worldwide, I bet the U.S. will only get half with most of those going to the extreme North East.

i think it looks good also, i wonder if the engine will draw inspiration from the 400hp turbo in the aero x, or just this a aero x just consmetic?

Tasteful and aggressive, but I just think it's too similar to M/RS/AMG's bodykit style. Saab needs to find its own, very Swedish design direction- like Volvo, but sexier and more interesting.

Stylistically, this does too little to differentiate itself from it predecessor to excite, though the drive train seems cool.

For me, and many others, it's just another Saab... i.e. the more affluent person's Subaru

The Vehicle Looks Rubbish

The AWD system might be good (i do not know) but with regards to Interior & exterior Looks this vehicle has not improved since its 2000 model year.

It was actually September 2001.

I think maybe you just haven't compared both cars side-by-side, they look totally different from the front. The new car looks much more modern. Compare:

Also you must remember that SAAB (GM) is not currently in a financial position to completely re-work what is essentially a mid-life face-lift.

I'd much rather the money was put into making the new 9-5 fantastic.

The AWD needs to standard on every model from now on period. This will eradicate any driving dynamic differences between Saab and the rest of Europe. After that interiors need a little upgrading and you have a world class driving sedan.
