Mercedes going downmarket with next A and B Class

The entry level A-Class and the slightly more expensive B-Class models have been successful for Mercedes in terms of sales but their slim profit margins have led Daimler execs to consider moving production of the next-gen versions to developing countries. Mercedes COO Rainer Schmückle revealed the carmaker won’t be giving up on the small car business and that production of these models will likely move to Eastern Europe or Asia.

This is only the start. Once people get adjusted to the fact that Mercs are being built in India or China, it's only a matter of time until more mainstream models start production there.

Mate i don't think you understood my comment. Mercedes builds some great cars, but i doubt it will be able to maintain that quality if they starting building cars in India or China.

Better than BMW in some areas but not better than Audi. Audi is the best value among the 3 German makes.

Mercedes wil be abel to mantain it. They r the gretaset car company on earth, known for impermeable qulaity an they wil always build beter cars thn theyr competion
