Hey that doesn't look like a convertible to me - looks like a coupe with a vinyl roof - back to the 1970s - maybe it will be available in a light powder blue metallic color!

If it is the convertible I am surprised that BMW is making the side and rear windows so large - which typically means a lack of strength in the soft top and potential for lots of leaks

That is definitely a hardtop convertible. Check out the extra wide trunk to fit the larger components of the hardtop top.

I think the up coming Volvo C40/50 looks better from the side.
