Frankfurt World premier: Hamann ”Thunder” based on the Bmw 3-Series Coupe

The Bmw 3-Series received from Hamann not only the V10 masterpiece but also an advanced performance version with 560 bhp at 7.750 rpm. The Hamann Thunder is capable to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds while the top speed is of 335 km/h.

How exactly would an aftermarket tunner be able to make a car more efficient than the actual company who produced it?

"these tuners really know how to get alot out of an engine. i think the culture needs to change to tune for efficiency rather than gaudy hp figures though."

um, this has been goal of bmw m for awhile now. hence, reason its cars typically have less hp in its class but consisdered better performers, lb to hp.

am tuners are not required to follow set guidelines, less restrictive and more money per car.
