Auto Spies Photo exclusive: The Spies design a better next-gen 3-series?



Generally, we like the next generation 3-series.

All except those mock Infiniti G20 taillights.

So we decided to get our new ace Scot Copeland to do some magic to fix the rear of the next 3-series.

We think it looks better than the real car.

What a waste of energy this "redesign is"

Presumably someone at BMW already thought that the rear lights could look like those on the 5 series but decided to make them more distinctive - and I would agree with BMW's design not the "redesign"

Scot, please do us BMW-lovers a favor and join BMW as a key styling decision-maker. Scot "Bangle Kryptonite" Copeland has my vote :-)

This is a much better design and blends perfetly with the car.
BMW, if I were you I'd change the Mitsusbishi tail lights to the design shown here. Don't even think twice or worry about your Asian customers who you are reportedly trying to woo with this horrible "concession" to their tastes.They are buying the BMW because it is "European" or did you forget that fact??
