Jeep J8 - Military Version Of The Wrangler Unlimited
Chrysler Group or rather Chrysler LLC, presented the Jeep J8 multipurpose vehicle at the '07 Defence Systems & Equipment International (DSEi) military trade show that takes place in the UK (Sep. 11-14). Aimed for military service, the J8 is based on the Wrangler Unlimited and it’ll be offered as a 2-door pickup or a 4-door multipurpose vehicle. The J8 will be produced in a Chrysler LLC joint-venture facility in Cairo, Egypt, and will be available from spring 2008.

I would like to see the rubicon and this combined. The rubicons selectable axles with the military bumpers and engine/tranny,spring rate for the true utilitarian towing/hauling.It still needs 285/75/16 tires because presently they are too small!

Is there any knowlegible 4x4 nuts on these blogs? I am surprised nobody commented on how the interior may look! This Jeep is mediocre but still way better than secound best! (H-3)
