Once again, Lexus leads the pack not only with the best cars in the world but also quality marketing. Imagine what would happen if Lexus was run by Germans. A terrible thing. I hope this never happens!

Desperate? Europeans are dumping their taxi Mercedes and 316i BMWs for Lexus cars. Quality wins over quantity. Always has.

This company is only 17 years old.It took them only 10yrs to pass everyone in sales.I was selling BMW's at the time,1990. They gave us an LS400 and a Q45 to compare.I remember saying their's no way these cars will hold up like a german car! I guess the rest is history. The germans are working harder than ever to keep up with Lexus so if you like the feel of a german car you can thank Lexus for making the prices and content of their cars.

10 years in America, not the rest of the world.

Lexus sales in Europe are pitiful.

To add to autopro's comment..

German car fans should be thankful for Lexus keeping the price of their german cars at reasonable levels. On the other hand, some german cars are priced ridiculously expensive but maybe that's why a $50,000+ Louis Vitton purse exists...I have one because I'm filthy rich and you... well you know what I mean.

As always, competition is good. And in the case of Lexus, they keep a lot of car companies honest. Let's see what will happen in next 10 years, 20 years, etc.

well, lexus did get relatively good emission out of its hybrids. too bad they missed the marked on performance--and really fell short on MPG.

Lexus, the relentless pursuit of marketing to mindless Americans.

Lexus, we charge you for a V-12 but only give you a V8 and you will like it!

Lexus why get a 500 hp S600 when only 436 will do?
