More BMW V-series

With BMW’s new X6 fully revealed, attention now turns to its next new model series, rumored to be a new MPV line aimed at Mercedes’ R-Class. Though the premium MPV segment has been a disappointment for the guys from Stuttgart, a new test-mule spotted in Munich suggests BMW is working on its own variant complete with a tall wagon body and a sloping hatchback fifth door.

An R-class competitor, I thought the R-class had already shown that the market for such a car isn't really there. The X6 is a bold and striking idea, this doesn't strike me as being that good an idea at all.

Why doesn't BMW just get it over and design a school-bus? The V is really going to dilute the brand. A high performance miniVan? Give me a break.
BMW is just trying to match DBenz in each and every category.

I agree. This is just stupid, though I'd like to see what they do with the M version.
