Our friends over at CarMagazine have caught these latest spy shots of the new Porsche 911 Turbo hitting up the Nurburgring. Although this new facelift may lack visible changes from the current model offered by Porsche, most changes are made to the performance.

The differences I can spot are the new LED taillights and reworked exhausts. As for the power hike I hear it that there may not be a power hike at all and if there is on it may not exceed 495 horses to satisfy new Turbo Cabrio and GT2 owners. In the end the facelift might not be official for 2009. As for the facelifted Carrera models, those are expected around the corner.

What? Why? If they're putting in DSG, no power hike will be necessary. It should shave about 0.3 sec off the standard auto's 0-60 time, and the Tiptronic currently used is one of the fastest slush boxes on the market.
